| I fell in love with an American who lived 5,000 miles away. | ![]() |
| Fortunately my work brought me often to the US. Martha and I had been friends for 16 years when we embarked upon the relationship of our lives. Lots of frequent flyer miles later, we decided to give up the long distance commute so we could be together fulltime. It's inspiring to hear the stories of other binational couples who have moved mountains to be together. I hate the fact that the U.S. government treats my wife like a second class citizen and does not recognize that we are a family. - Lin McDevitt-Pugh |
